Charlie "Dale" Mitchell on the #24 skis... Racing towards the checkered flag...

Hello race fans! Charlie Mitchell skied a smart race, using a timely pit stop and avoiding the yellow caution flag in order to win the 2007 Skateona 800. Chris Rose was the top qualifyer, winning the pole with an impressive 277 hmph lap. However, he was not able to hold off the tenacious drafting of Jim Kobak. Kobak slingshot past Rose on the final lap, and edged him by 2 seconds at the finish. However, neither Kobak or Rose could run their rigs to full potential facing an uphill battle with the strict NASSKI restrictor plate regulations. Mitchell had his machine tuned to perfection and was dialed in... "I think it helped that my skis were fast." and he took the title in America's Greatest Race.
