Jan 28- The Peru Nordic Masters Ski Pool delivered some hot "kick on glide action" at MVH for the annual Harry Eldridge Classic race. Conditions were cold with some new snow, an "easy" waxing day. Doug Diehl rode his special sauce, finishing 3rd overall in the open/masters 15 km race. Janet Findlay captured 4th in the women's 10 km race. Many NYSSRA points were accrued on this day... Diehl 1st in the mM4 = 38 points, Findlay 1st fM5 = 37 points, Jim Kobak 4th overall/1st mM2 = 36 points, Chris Rose 5th/2nd mM2 = 31 points, Mike Wynn 6th/3rd mM2 = 27 points, Stan Hatch 8th/2nd mM4 = 29 points, Joe Moore 9th/1st mM3 = 32 points, Bob Maswick 11th/1st mM5 = 30 points, Dave Kvam 12th/4th mSr =21 points, Joe Korzinecki 14th/ 2nd mM5= 26 points, Steve Bailey 20th/5th mM4 =19 points, Ed Lis 21st/4th mM2= 21 points. And a good time was had by all... except Wynn, who felt like total crap.
