Chris Rose, Dead-eye on the Biathlon Range.

Mitchellbeiner Skistadion, Clinton County's only certified USTBBA range, hosted the annual DOOMATHLON ski race. For the first time, this race was contested in classic technique. Skiers skied two laps of the famed Mitchellbeiner course, stopping to throw three tennis balls at the biathlon target once during each lap. Chris "kick-double-pole-poltergeist" Rose joergenauklaned his way to victory. His superior double poling technique, along with his accurate shooting, allowed him to cruise to a comfortable victory. Chris moved into the lead in the VIKING HELMET challenge, "Ja, Dis iss godt, ja, godt Kick und godt Glide! Ja!!"

2. Jim Kobak, 34:11 + 0:40 penalty = 34:51
