Rose and Maswick had great training runs (w/Charlie Mitchell)

Sept 2- The Two Towers rollerski training race showed that the Peru Nordic Masters Ski Pool is well on the way to a great 06-07.  Chris Hand of Doom Rose launched a strong attack on the 5k uphill classic stage.   Rose showed that his summer kick-double pole training has paid off with great dividends.  In the 5k uphill skate stage, Rose missed the wax, leaving Bob Lord of Destruction Maswick and Jim Harvester of Sorrow Kobak to duel.  In an exciting sprint finish, Kobak barely edged out Maswick.  This was not without controversy, as a maverick fan (who looked a lot like he was wacked out on Stacker II fat burning diet pills) rode his bicycle on to the course throwing Maswick's awesome V2 sprint timing off by a nanosecond.
