Charlie Mitchell was bestowed with the prestigious PNMSP/NYSSRA "Groomer of the Year" award. This award is given annually at the Mitchellbeiner holiday galaxtravaganzafest to a well-groomed groomer who goes above and beyond to manicure and pedicure nordic ski trails. Charlie, no stranger to manscaping, has developed into a true ski-trail stylist. He has spent countless hours primping the fabulous facility at MitcHELLbeiner Skistadion. On hand for the awards were noted skiing luminaries, Jim Kobak - PNMSP President, Chris Rose - President, NYSSRA-nordic, inc., Keith Bombard - Deer Biathlon Champ, Kevin Duniho- Pro-Ski Party politician, and Andy Sajor- 2004 Antarctic National International World Champion. Charlie credits his grooming prowess to his new Paleolithic diet. He has been out foraging for roots, berries and other wild edibles... with a backhoe.
