Hand of Doom shows off the new racing tights...

Dec 9, 2006-  The Peru Nordic Masters hosted the first "official" on-snow training session at Mt. Van Hoevenberg.  One and a half hours of skating with emphasis on sprints was followed by an hour of classic skiing with emphasis on no-pole technique.  Jim "Harvester of Sorrow" Kobak and Chris "Hand of Doom" Rose dueled in the annual first-day-on-snow sprinterval leg liquifier session.  Ugly technique quickly dissipated and the duo are looking strong for next week's Reindeer Roundup.  As the session came to a close, Nordic Guru Dave "Tile Cutter" Hunter gave a quick clinic.  And Bob "Lord of Destruction" Maswick demonstrated the proper way to break technique in a classic race.  A good time was had by most...
