"Taste me you will see, more is all you need" -Master of Puppets (Song in Chris Rose's head as he stormed the Whiteface Highway 12/5/06

The Whiteface Highway is skiable.  Chris Rose and Jim Kobak ventured to Wilmington in a light snowstorm to check out conditions.  Black ice could not stop the pursuit of white gold.  The highway was in good shape.  There was coverage from the Toll House, but the light fluffy snow was sitting on top of nothing but asphalt in some places, making it somewhat thin in spots.  It was definitely good rock skiing, although technique was not so good.   Brian Delaney was spotted on the Highway and he reports that Van Ho is rolling.  They are aiming to open this weekend... and host the season opener.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.  Windbriefs will check out Van Ho tomorrow and report on conditions.
