NYSSRA NORDIC... Ski season starts next week!

With the pre-season behind us, it is time to look forward to the 2006-07  racing calendar.  This season is shaping up to be awesome with the Peru Nordic Masters sporting new racing suits.  As of this posting, the December NYSSRA events now have online registration.  go to www.nyssranordic.com for details (make sure to put PERU NORDIC MASTERS as your club affiliation).

December's events:  12/9 NYSEF opener in LP, 12/16 Reindeer Roundup in Lapland Lake, 12/31 Monsters of Rock at MitcHELLbeiner Skistadion.

In January, the Club Series begins with 4 races.  We hope to have good representation at all of them.  On Jan 6/7 there are two races at Tug Hill and on Jan 13/14 there are two races at Saratoga Biathlon Center.  The points earned at these races count towards our club total.  The other Club seris races take place during the NYSSRA Champions Cup weekend.

The LP Loppet is being held in February this year.

Also... we would love to have representation at the Keskinada Loppet in Ottawa this February and at the Masters National Championships in Bend, Oregon in late March.  Let Jim K. ([email protected]) know if you are interested in heading out to either of these events so we can start the logistical planning early.
