The Freak Show gets underway!

October 22-  Finally!  After an unprecidented rain/snow out on Friday, the Carnival of Sins Rollerski stage race began today.  Crisp fall temperatures couldn't damper the charge of Chris Rose.  He blistered through the course and captured his second consecutive Hill of Death course victory.  "I hot-boxed my rollerski wheel bearings to keep them gliding smoothly," said the champ.  Rose's victory by almost 2 minutes sets him up well for tomorrows finale, the Akey Road Classic Uphill Pursuit.  Rose's victory is even more impressive considering he participated in Charlie Mitchell's PsycloCross race yesterday.  "My legs are filled with more lactate than a nursing mother," cried Rose, "but I'll be up for tomorrows race!"
