President Rose contemplating his first 100 days...

New NYSSRA president, Chris Rose, has formally listed his goals during his term as supreme overlord of the governing body for ski racing in New York State.  Foremost, NYSSRA will promote the March 3 and 4 Champions Cup weekend as THE premier event in NY ski racing.  Another modest goal is to double the current membership of NYSSRA.  He hopes that the Grass Roots of local clubs will help forge the way.  The Peru Nordic Masters has decided to assist President Rose in his campaigns.  Members of the Peru Nordic Masters are now required to also be NYSSRA members (join at www.nyssranordic.com if you haven't already).  And, all PNMSP members are expected to race at the Champions Cup events.  Peru Nordic Masters skiers are encouraged to recruit members for the team, as well as for NYSSRA nordic in general.  Convince a friend/relative that XC Skiing is the greatest sport known to mankind, and that they should give racing a spin.   Charlie Mitchell has indicated he might host weekly races at his venue, for PNMSP/NYSSRA members only, all in support of the new regime.  E pluribus unim!
