Sauteed Shrimp with Fried Garlic Vinaigrette

1/2 C plus 4 T olive oil
12 lg garlic cloves very thinly sliced
1/4 C Sherry wine vinegar (I just mix 1/2 sherry and 1/2 wine vinegar)
1/4 C chopped fresh parsley (I substitute dried)
3.4 t dried crushed red pepper
3 pounds uncooked lg shrimp - peeled, deveined
