I am glad to report that I am home from hospital finally and hope to be back on my feet soon.

After being spun by corncob in the 95.1 on September 3 and put into the wall, I am left with a week in hospital, a bruised lung, a damaged nerve in my left leg along with numerous bruises.  It was a horrible week for the family since Rick is still not able to drive and we had to rely on our friends to transport him to Chatham to see me.

A huge thanks to Rob Parker for bringing my kids and the hauler home.  Thanks to Rob Young and Peter Wenzler for all their help and suport as well!

I understand that the corn nob and the haskell boys even had the audacity to post on a message board that I got what I deserve... I cannot believe any racer ever deserves being smashed the way I was.  What exactly were we racing for..we were both at least a lap down from flat tires and he is almost 100 points behind me.

I will be back..not sure if the car survived or not.  We will take it out later this week and pull the motor to find out.  I will post pictures later in the week as well.

If anyone knows what cob is up this guys butt, please email and let me know.  I wish everyone luck for the championship race and hope to be there to cheer everyone on...
