just a few notes for people who care
Entry for April 18, 2007
Okay, I went to my clinic yesterday.  They were really nice, but they acted like they expected me to be retarded, literally.  They asked alot of stupid questions.  Was it hard for you in school?  Were you ever held back a grade?  Did you graduate highschool?  That is when I said "As a matter of fact I graduated college"  And the doctor got so excitedI thought she might pee herself.  She said" you are doing so amazingblahblahblah..."  She talked to me like I was 2.  One of the main reasons these were some really stupid questions was because this was the clinic I went to from age 1 all the way to age 12.  They were nice, but just clueless. When I told them I was a moderator on a PKU board and had my own blog, they acted like it was impossible for a person with PKU to do that.  But since I haven't had my formula for over 3 weeks, they said my levels were 17.  I want my formula.  I am craving it soooo badly!!

Weird that your doctors reacted that way? Did they think that if you haven`t had your Formula for so long you got silly or what? I have never been in a situation like you (being without the formula for so long) but I think I can imagine how you feel.

Take care
