Now we come to the megalithic site of Stonehenge, the celtic mecca. Curiously it has strange old carvings, one of which is like a dirk dagger of the picts. Probably done by the Welsh in 2500 bc give or take. So that is a novelty. The place was a temple to the summer and winter solstaces, the latter being druidic Alban or Christmas. The name Alban is ofcourse Pictish, like Alba. During Alban the druids decorated oak trees and sang carols to them...some traditions still continue. yay for Dagda's oak!
