the ban shee, sith from the highlands

Yakki dha greetings. Leave milk out tonight! For the elven folk, for now we speak of the ban Shee, the sith (or shee) and no topic of pictish religion would be complete without mentionng the fay folk which is a multitude of sprites and spirits and people, and a number of them animals (Like the dire hound of the baskervilles Black Angus Cu Sith/ Cu shee). They are too many to name but these ban shee inhabit the folk lore of the scottish highlands still. Witches offer milk pourings at rocks to them, which reflects the Brigantian milk offering in spring to Brigantia at the Oak or a source of a streem, often with pictures or wood engravings of her. Other folk leave milk offerings at a niche or in a bowl for the shee over night. Includes Blackie Grungach (of which there is a male and a female both with very long hair and are cattle herders). Above is a site sacred to the sith or the elves, the daione sith. Isobel Gowdie (1662) met some sith ban shee and never looked back! cant be bad. So here a link just to get you started! if you wish.
