Yakki dha greetings. now to the old oghham alphabet as carved on stones by picts and others! The interesting thing is that oghham (its name is pictish like Angus Og, or Ongus) was and is a phoenetic alphabet, which like the germanic runes, used designs for sounds instead of pictures, though the picts loved to carve pictures as well upon rocks. Most used the central line and did words in blocks but some did not use the central line. The other problem is there is more than one oghham alphabet, with most of the letters the same but a number transposed in meaning. Only the gods know why. also called ogham and ogam by some for reasons only their gods could know. All you need to know so you can now write 'slut' on your friends head in oghham! yay!
