quick update comrades
Yakki dha greetings. There seems to be evidence that the picts were not into torcs much unlike the southern and irish celts. Be that as it may, the torc may have signified the same serpent idea as found carved on pictish rocks from even elder times. And if the likes of Saint Patrick found the snakes so formiddable and opposed them we can presume that the great serpent was a heathen diety probably associated with phallic fertility rites.
