The nation of Brigantia was a wealthy and powerful place of cattle herding with a capital at Auldbrough, called by the Romans Iseum. Most of Brigantia fell to the Roman Legions, except Dumfries now in Scotland. She was the same goddess as Riganita of Wales, or her twin sister if you prefer. Riganita became known as Rhiannon to the welsh. They are the same as or sisters of Brigid (south england) and Briget (Ireland Eire) though practice and perspectives differed according to time and region. And Bride in Scotland. This shows a remarkable kinship between the celtic isles and nations. This should be taught in schools as our heiratage.
