October is Breast Cancer Awarness Month.  To me it is an important issue and I have no problem with all the publicity show in this month on this topic.  I am not one with or even a relative to a person who had breast cancer, so why is it important to me ?  For one I am a women who can in fact be one out of the 8% who could later on be diagnosed with Breast Cancer and the more that I am aware of the disease and causes at least I can either make life changes to prevent it or if it came down to it probably be able to handle it differently if I found out I had the cancer than if it had never been brought to my attention.  The other reason is probably the main reason why I care.... I care because there are women out there who have been told they have Breast Cancer or have family members who do or even just know someone with Breast Cancer.  With Breast Cancer awarness having its own month it helps those know that they are not alone and there is support and for those who know the women with it, it helps them know how to give support, be more confident to deal with the situtation and ways to encourge the women with Breast Cancer.   I support Breast Cancer Awarness,  I do wear a Pink Ribbion pin on my shirt every day.... people ask why and I tell them and I am happy because I then know that at least one  more person is now aware to Breast Cancer and that make me happy.
