Just do it.
January 15, 2007 Yay, Global Warming

We were supposed to get clobbered today with a big winter storm.  It started out as a heavy winter storm warning with up to 12 inches of snow, and ended up as about an inch of ice.  It seems like the weather service has been consistently wrong this year.  They keep telling us "Get ready!!!  A huge storm is coming!!!"  Everybody runs out and buys milk and cat food and nothing happens.  I mean every single winter storm prediction they've made this year has been totally off the mark.  I'm thinking there may be something wrong with their equipment--seriously.  But that being said, I'd rather the warning be more than less.

And I can't complain about how it's been so far--very little shoveling, no real travel concerns.  As Travis has said, "Yay, global warming."

So I stayed home all day today.  I suppose I could get the car on the road if I wanted to, but it would probably take me over an hour to actually get it onto the plowed portion of the pavement.  Eh.  This is the first time this winter that the weather has actually kept me from doing my normal stuff.  But it's Monday, it's a holiday, and I've got stuff here to do and keep me occupied, so it's all good.

Not too much else going on.

Oh, by the way...  I've found peace with my hair.  Thank you to those who commented for your encouragement!
