...right before your eyes.
Just do it.
November 8, 2006 What you can be is more important than what you have been

I love that.  I see it on a poster at Curves everytime I go, and it motivates me everytime.

I've only been going to Curves for a week and a half, but I'm seeing results already--small, but noticable.  I flexed my arm and made a muscle for Travis and he was like, "Wow."  So progress is being made.  I can feel it in my legs, too.  It reminds me of when I was playing volleyball.  I've been feeling like a brick, lately, though, instead of lighter.  I don't know if that's good or bad.

Not too much going on.  I did a little research on Felts Mills and found out some really interesting stuff.  I thought the land on the other side of the river was part of Ft. Drum, but it's actually an abandoned island, and Ft. Drum is on the other side of that.  So cool.  It used to be inhabited and part of Felt's Mills (with the apostrophe), but the bridge that connected it to the mainland is gone.  I Google Earth-ed it, and I think I can see a connection on the other end of the island.  My adventurous spirit is way up, and I'm waiting for an appropriate day to go exploring.  Before I do that, though, I'm going to call the town clerk and find out whose property it actually is.

It also looks like the building I live in was possibly a harness shop, but I have to look into that a little more.

Anyway, off to Curves!

Keep up the good work, Kate.Don't forget, muscle is denser than fat -- so don't be discouraged and you'll see results all around before long. -- Mom
