...right before your eyes.
Just do it.

Today is Thursday--one of my "home" days.  I usually use Thursdays to catch up on any laundry and do any little house projects I've had in mind.  Today I rearranged the furniture in preparation for turning on the heat.  There is one heat register that runs along the bottom of one wall.  We had initially put the bed and other furniture up along that wall, not really thinking too much about what we'd do come winter, but rather just get the junk in the apartment in some kind of arrangement.  So now everything is away from that wall and we're ready for when it gets cold.

I've caught a cold and am feeling kind of blah.  After moving furniture around, I'm feeling quite lathargic and just plain pooped.

It's definitely fall here.  The trees are getting absolutely beautiful.  We'll be driving down the street and there will be this shock of red leaves among all the yellows, browns, and greens.  It's really gorgeous.  I think every season has its beauty.  In the winter, I love to see the farmland after a good snow.  The snow levels everything off and it is so still.  It's literally like someone threw a blanket over everything.  And it is so bright.

Summer has its beautiful sunsets.  Spring is like a new world opening up after the winter.  I remember last spring I was so happy to see grass again.  We have the evergreen trees, but green grass is so good to see after months of winter.

Enough of waxing poetic.  On a more down-to-earth note, for the past four or five months I've been drinking mostly iced instant coffee.  I got into it when it was so hot and I had to find a way to cool down.  And then I kept drinking it because it seems to curb my cravings for chocolate.  Now it's getting cool, though, so today I pulled out my combination coffee/espresso maker and made the real, brewed stuff.  I ended up burning it and making it way too strong, but it was still warm and comforting once I loaded it with condiments.

Shelli made a list of things she loves and said she'd be interested to read about what we, her loyal readers, love.  Here's a partial list of my loves (not in a very strict order):

-The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

-Bass guitar lines.

-A well-played euphonium/baritone horn.

-A well-played french horn.

-A rip-your-heart-out countermelody played on a cello.

-Being a Christian (and the many, many subcatagories that fall under that)

-Being married to a Christian man who is willing to love God first, and then me; because if he is faithful to God, I know he will be faithful to me.

-Coffee in many forms

-Chocolate, too.

-Winter

-Sleeping in

-Baby penguins

-Stuffed ladybugs

-Chinese food

-Studying

-Electronics and electronic gadgets

-My husband reading funny stuff to me

-Purple, blue, and green

-Cleanliness

-Snacking

-Digitizing my life (i.e. Bible on my PDA instead of in book form, all my notes on the computer, all my pictures as jpegs, etc.)
