Here are a couple pictures. One is Jack, Mom, and me; and the other is me and Dad. I'm really thankful for my family. Dads are awesome because they know everything... really, they do! I have often had to email or call my Dad with a home repair or locksmithing question, and he has always--very patiently--tried to walk me through it step-by-step over the phone. I imagine that's not an easy task with a blonde on the other end.
And I definitely love my Mom and my brother. They both have been great influences in my life. Jack drives me crazy (like all little brothers do), Mom makes me want to pull my hair out. But it's the good kind, like you know your family is looking out for you and cares about you.
So anyway, I've been feeling a little under the weather lately; just a case of the blahs. Travis' Grandma passed away yesterday, and I'm sure that has something to do with it. I really loved her, even though I didn't get to see her a lot. While it was something we knew was coming (she'd had cancer for years), it's still hard to lose someone you laughed with.
The funeral is Tuesday, so we'll be leaving here Monday and then coming home sometime Wednesday. It's an 11 hour drive (they're in Ohio).
I hope all of you are doing well. Many prayers for Shelli as she gets ready to have the baby! I'm rooting for you!
