Well winter is over officially a few weeks ago, and as of this afternoon when we take Howard and Mark to the airport at 5 PM, so is WCL 07.... Our few months together have been great - and Mark/Howard were the first to arrive on Dec 29th for WCL 07, so I am feeling very attached to them! The winter community was incredible, there were so many things including NVC, tantra, the Healing and Empowerment Circle, and people were to experience so much diversity in a low stress environment - such as ecstatic dance, N&K's Wig Party, the Makuu Farmer's market, hikes to green lake and of course the lava flow! The hardest decisions that was made was what was for dinner, and when to go snorkeling. Most of our winter guests are already planning their return trip.... in fact Howard told me that he thinks of their trip home as "vacationing in Illinois" for the summer/early fall. Diane made it back to Canada safely although her luggage took more of a trip! The airline did find it and got it to her with the COCONUT inside the luggage! She also got home to -14 degrees!
