Another Day in Paradise!
Whats up in Kapoho on the Big Island!
Improvements !!

So our improvements in the last ten days are: 1) Bamboo screening outside "blue room" aka John's room or Cindy's room - makes it so you are not looking at the pile of stuff from jobsites (which got organized by Chris & Carol !!! Thank you so much!!) I have two chairs down there and looking for a little table to put a plant and candle on to go with it 2) a new 4-slice toaster, old 2-slice toaster went into downstairs! Now we can have toast galore!!! 3) Ray and Brent hung the hammock up near the bamboo room and Brent and I hung the twinkly lights up above it. Wow! Expect to see more "out of the rain" improvements as our rainy season is definately here now. It is 8 AM and seems like 6 AM. Dark & drizzly!

Went to the end of the Kalapana road and watched the glow while we had a picnic dinner (Robert & I, Katie, Brent and Chris). It seems like it is just about to crest the hill and flow down but who knows!

Also a reminder from Cody - don't forget your magnets! Ray didn't know he needed a magnent so he put a polished piece of hematite from Alaska on the fridge! Hematite has Rock-magnetic properties and are used to distinguish glacimarine sediments within continental terranes in Southern Alaska.
