Brent from San Diego and Ray from Alaska are here now. What a blast we have been having! Went to the hot ponds last night and the steam was coming off the ponds it was so hot. Must be the new lava!

Check out these mushrooms we found - they are vibrant yellow - they are harmless unless eaten (Dr. hemmes, a mycologist at UH-Hilo identified them for us). If ingested will cause you to throw up - he said they come in to Hawaii on pottign soil! And here we thought we had found an incredibly rare find!!! Who knew you could get them at Wal Mart????
