Fandom:
Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden
Pairing:
Roun Rimudo x Okuda Takiko
Theme set:
Alpha
Rating:
I'll give it a PG-13 rating to be safe. Nothing too graphic
here.
#01 -
Comfort
Takiko
couldn't help but feel safe just to have him near her--his presence meant more
than words.
#02 - Kiss
"Why...did
you kiss me that time?" she'd asked, expecting a more eloquent answer than
what she received: "Because I felt like it, stupid!"
#03 - Soft
Rimudo's
hair was so soft, it was like how Takiko expected a cloud to feel.
#04 - Pain
There was
blood, and just a little bit of pain, but in the end, Rimudo was there and his
beautiful body flooded Takiko's vision.
#05 -
Potatoes
Potatoes
were cheap and easy to feed a bunch of seishi with, and even though His
Highness Rimudo didn't seem to like them much, Takiko cooked them every night
anyway.
#06 - Rain
Rain fell,
Rimudo's blood soaking into the ground and turning the water around them a
terrible crimson color.
#07 -
Chocolate
It was a
pity that the ancient Chinese didn't have chocolate--or Valentine's Day, for
that matter, Takiko lamented this fact, and Rimudo was still clueless.
#08
- Happiness
"Do
you...want to go back to your home? Would that make you happy?"
#09 - Telephone
Takiko
started with the phrase "The emperor wears baggy silk pants" and by
the time it went all the way down the 'telephone line' to Rimudo, he recited it
as "Pearls have lots of gas".
#10 - Ears
Rimudo
nipped at Takiko's ear, and a ripple of ecstacy went through
her as she thought Stop teasing me and go...
#11 - Name
"So
what am supposed to call you? Prince?
Rimudo-sama? Uruki the Seishi?
What?" Takiko asked, but Rimudo just shook his head and rolled his eyes
before snapping, "Just RIMUDO will do, thanks."
#12 -
Sensual
It seemed
like just the slightest breeze of wind was enough to excite Takiko--Rimudo had
really ruined her.
#13 - Death
They had
been around death for so long that it was no matter to them; if they died, at
least they'd die together.
#14 - Sex
"What
do you mean I can't make love to her?!" Rimudo demanded of the annoyed
Taitsukun as soon as they were in another room alone.
#15 - Touch
(continuation of 14)
And she
answered "Do you want all of her efforts to be in vain? If you love her,
don't touch her."
#16 - Weakness
She was a
liability and he knew that she made it easy for his father to find them time
after time, but if they ever separated, then his reason for living will have been
taken away.
#17 -
Tears
Nothing
annoyed Rimudo more than seeing Takiko cry--not because he didn't like her
tears, but because he knew he could do nothing to stop them.
#18 - Speed
She only
had to blink and in a flash--he was gone.
#19 - Wind
Takiko
knew that Rimudo was just like the wind, impossible to hold down and keep
forever.
#20 - Freedom
All he had
ever wanted in his life was freedom, and yet practically shackled to this girl
with the red strings, Rimudo felt more liberated than ever.
#21 - Life
He was
high on life, high on happiness, and positively drunk on the Genbu no miko.
#22 - Jealousy
Rimudo
angrily pulled Takiko from Tomite and glared at the younger boy, growling
"Don't touch my woman, you hear?"
#23 -
Hands
He had
fast hands like the wind, too, and yet they were gentle and acted with all the
emotions and feelings that only Rimudo could have.
#24 - Taste
Rimudo
could taste the salt from Takiko's tears as he kissed her, which only made him
more desperate.
#25
- Devotion
"Takiko. I will never leave you." he
pleaded on a particularly rocky episode, and Takiko
dove into his arms.
#26 -
Forever
The
gondola of so long ago carried them on up to heaven, and Rimudo thought that
forever wasn't nearly long enough.
#27 -
Blood
The blood
was so red and Rimudo felt his consciousness fade, but the only thing he cared
about was that Takiko was there, and Takiko would meet him on the other side.
#28 - Sickness
The motion
sickness hit her like a tempest, but Rimudo held her close and when she closed
her eyes, it didn't seem so bad after all.
#29 - Melody
"It's
a short life." Takiko commented, and Rimudo was reminded of her song.
#30 - Star
Even
though there were 7 seishi, the Uruki star was Takiko's favorite by far.
#31 - Home
At first,
she had merely wanted to go home and bring her mother back, but eventually
Takiko realized that home was merely where Rimudo was.
#32
- Confusion
There was
always a sort of confusion about Rimudo whenever Takiko tried to talk about her
home.
#33 - Fear
Yet she
knew that when he was there, she had nothing to fear but the fear of losing
him.
#34 -
Lightning/Thunder
It still
amused Rimudo to no end that his tough, strong woman was afraid of something as
idiotic as thunderstorms, but she looked even cuter when she was afraid--maybe
he was just a little bit twisted that way.
#35 -
Bonds
Nothing
could break the red string that existed between them,
nothing could break the bond that had been forged by fate.
#36 - Market
Going to
the market as they were was too risky, but nothing beat the sight of Rimudo in
woman form and a Chinese dress when one was bored.
#37 - Technology
"I
used to have a lot of fun using the record player back home..." Takiko
would sigh, and she would always be rewarded with a blank stare from Rimudo.
#38 - Gift
Nothing
mattered but Takiko, and Rimudo would always believe that she was the greatest
gift he had ever received.
#39 - Smile
Takiko
caught Rimudo's smile and pocketed it; the times were rough and smiles were
hard to come by.
#40
- Innocence
Sometimes
he was annoyed at her naivete, but most of the time, Rimudo thought it one of
Takiko's more loveable quirks.
#41 - Completion
All his
life, he'd been searching for that extra something and now that he'd found it,
he knew that it was Takiko that completed him.
#42 -
Clouds
The clouds
in the sky were a bad, sullen thing on such a day, but Rimudo covered Takiko's
eyes and whispered in her ear that the sun was shining.
#43 - Sky
His spirit
floated into the sky with hers beside it, a pair that even death could not
part.
#44 -
Heaven
Takiko
stepped into the gondola and sat next to Rimudo, and knew then that it was the
vessel that would take them to paradise.
#45 - Hell
If it
meant having Takiko, Rimudo would travel to hell and back just for her sake.
#46 - Sun
The sun
streamed through the windows, illuminating Takiko's fragile, naked form, and
Rimudo thought then and there that she had to be the most beautiful thing he'd
ever seen.
#47 - Moon
They
danced in the moonlight, their happy voices traveling through the air and
mingling with the cool night air.
#48 -
Waves
The waves
made the gondola bob up and down, and Takiko was so afraid that she and Rimudo
would fall, but Rimudo conjured up a wind and stopped the waves, easing her.
#49 - Hair
Takiko's
hair was so long and straight and, Rimudo soon realized, soft to the touch.
#50 - Supernova
He entered
her, and suddenly there was a supernova of senses; Takiko could barely remember
where she was, but such was life with Rimudo: in one moment, assured, confident
and predictable and in the next, crazy and spontaneous and yet always full of
love and joy.
