Note: All sentences take place at some time during season two of the series or at some post-series time, minus #22. A couple take place between the two seasons. So yeah, spoilers for the end of the first season and beginning of the second. Some are manga-specific and some are anime-specific (most notably the rings vs pink orbs).




#01 - Comfort
Hikaru's sword is broken and Ferio sees how worried Fuu is about her friend; he slips his fingers through hers under the conference table and she squeezes his hand tight.

#02 - Kiss
She's never kissed him like this before, thinks Ferio before losing himself to Fuu's eager lips.

#03 - Soft
She catches him watching her from across the room, and the softness in her eyes draws a grin all the way across his face.

#04 - Pain
"Ferio!" Fuu cries, running to his side as he falls from Fyula's* back; as he nurses his sprained knee, he reassures her that she worries over him too much.

#05 - Potatoes
The girls brought Earth food to Cephiro this weekend and Ferio just stares at the ugly, brown clod of dirt that Fuu holds out to him; no way they eat that.

#06 - Rain
"It's raining," whispers Fuu and her lover nods, standing close to her as they look out on a darkened Cephiro.

#07 - Chocolate
After explaining the (mostly teenage) celebration of Valentine's Day, Fuu presents him with a box of imported Belgium chocolates, the ones that Kuu had given to her for her birthday, because she wants to share them with someone special.

#08 - Happiness
When he told her that every time she visits, she brings his happiness with her, Fuu's chest felt tight and her face hot; she wondered if what he said was true.

#09 - Telephone
Fuu reaches into her pocket and runs her fingers over the cool surface of the pink communication orb that Ferio returned to her, wishing her call had gone through; even after speaking with Windam, she's still a little frightened in her comfortable Fahren cell.

#10 - Ears
"You're being terribly selfish, Ferio!" Fuu shoots back, and his ears burn at the accusation, which is unfortunately true.

#11 - Name
Ferio can't help but notice that he -- and her mashin -- are the only ones who Fuu doesn't address in a formal manner; she called him Ferio-san but once, and never again.

#12 - Sensual
One of Fuu's favorite ways to spend her time with Ferio is settled at his feet as he simply plays with her hair, every movement of every hair affecting a nerve that sends shivers up and down her back to the point that she almost feels sick to her stomach.

#13 - Death
Even though he reassures her that it wasn't her fault, that Emeraude is free now, that he loves her still, all Fuu can think about is the fact that she murdered his beloved sister.

#14 - Sex
As his eager arms wrap around her waist from behind, as his breath tickles her neck, she remembers that he would never pressure her into something she wasn't ready for, no matter what he might want... and she remembers why she loves him.

#15 - Touch
"You always wear gloves," Fuu whispers as she removes them from his hands, blushing at the sensation of feeling his warm skin on her own.

#16 - Weakness
His smile is a bit crooked, but it is genuine and warm and it is Fuu's weakness.

#17 - Tears
Even her tears of joy bother him; something about seeing those green eyes full of that hot, salty water stirs up protective instincts that he didn't even know where there.

#18 - Speed
"Fuu, this is ridiculous... I'm never sparring with you again; you're too fast for me!"

#19 - Wind
When the wind plays with her golden curls, Ferio sometimes forgets to breathe.

#20 - Freedom
She doesn't realize how chained to the earth, to himself, he used to feel; now that she loves him, her wind has broken his chains and carried him up to meet her in the sky.

#21 - Life
"Never in my life has anyone looked at me the way you do," she whispers in the dimming evening light, her voice barely audible over the crickets chirping.

#22 - Jealousy
I should be the one talking to him in front of the fire tonight, thinks Fuu bitterly as Sera laughs with Ferio and the storms roars outside the cave -- and inside herself.

#23 - Hands
Sometimes he chivalrously leans down to the level to which she's raised it, and sometimes he affectionately lifts it to his lips, but he always greets his Fuu with a light kiss on the back of her hand.

#24 - Taste
Ferio stands with his forehead against the window, wondering if Fuu is all right in her world, and he can't get this bitter taste out of his mouth, no matter how much he drinks.

#25 - Devotion
"You waited for me?" he chokes, and blinks back hot tears when she looks at him like he'd asked her if she'd kept breathing.

#26 - Forever
Fuu wrings her hands as she explains to Ferio the Earth concept of marriage, and wonders how things are done in Cephiro, because she has every intent of -- somehow -- being at his side forever.

#27 - Blood
Ferio watches the Magic Knights battling through the spherical window Clef has created, and he bites his lip so hard that he soon tastes blood.

#28 - Sickness
"Really, Ferio, I'm fine!" she assures him, but when this statement is accompanied by a thick cough from down in her chest, he wags his finger at her and refuses to leave before gathering her laundry to be washed; he wants her to have all her clothes nice and clean when she's feeling better.

#29 - Melody
She doesn't know it, but he's around the corner listening to her sing to the Cephiran refugee children.

#30 - Star
Both of Cephiro's moons are nearly slivers tonight -- that happens every five years, give or take -- so he can only see her doe-like eyes lit by the starlight, but he rather likes them that way; "I always have stars in my eyes, Ferio," she whispers when he mentions this.

#31 - Home
Ferio runs to the courtyard where the girls have appeared just in time to see his blonde knight break from her friends and fall into his arms and to whisper to her, "Welcome home, my princess."

#32 - Confusion
Kuu wonders if she'll ever figure out that sparkle in her sister's eye whenever Fuu visits Tokyo Tower with her friends.

#33 - Fear
Sometimes, she worries that he doesn't miss her; that if she ever sees him again, he will see her only as a murderer of the princess of his country.

#34 - Lightning/Thunder
Ferio still doesn't understand the storms that ravage his country, but as Fuu clings to him harder with each flash of lightning, he tries his best to be brave for her sake.

#35 - Bonds
"You and I are bonded, Fuu; no matter if we are literally worlds apart, you never leave the front of my mind."

#36 - Market
"Prince Ferio, the Fahren markets are no place for gymnastics!" squeals a small, dark man as Fuu rolls her eyes and pretends she doesn't know Ferio.

#37 - Technology
Fuu thinks Ferio would love video games, especially the racing games.

#38 - Gift
"I want you to keep this," he says, pressing his ring into her hand, because when he gives his heart to someone, it's not for borrowing purposes.

#39 - Smile
Ferio's hand lingers on her lower back as they enter the room and Fuu blushes as Caldina leers at her, winking one bright blue eye.

#40 - Innocence
While she is in no way naive, she has a purity, an innocence about her that somehow causes him to not-quite-blush.

#41 - Completion
His fingers fold through hers, and Fuu feels like a completed circle.

#42 - Clouds
"Please, Ferio," Fuu pleads, pulling him out the lavish doors of the castle, "it's so fun and relaxing to look at the clouds on a day like this!"

#43 - Sky
Even though Emeraude's eyes were the color of the sky and Fuu's are the color of grass, Ferio thinks the two most important women in his life have shockingly similar eyes.

#44 - Heaven
When Fuu tells Umi that she sees heaven in Ferio's eyes, her taller friend just laughs and tells her that's corny; Fuu knows that it is, but isn't heaven a place where everything is pleasant and safe?... because that's what she sees in his eyes.

#45 - Hell
He watches her movements and realizes that he doesn't see the sweet-yet-melancholy girl he met in the Forest of Silence; Emeraude's death has shook her to her soul and it's killing him to see her demons rip her apart.

#46 - Sun
Fuu thinks that her lover's amber eyes reflect the evening sun perfectly.

#47 - Moon
"I would give you the moon, dear Fuu," he recites, and she reminds him that he is in no position to be offering it to her at all, and that his company is plenty.

#48 - Waves
Riding with Umi atop one of Ascot's winged friends, Fuu waves down to her friends on the ground; to one wild-haired prince in particular.

#49 - Hair
Umi wonders how prim-and-proper, clean-cut Fuu can stand Ferio's wild hair, tied back or not.

#50 - Supernova
Fuu seems to have caught Hikaru's firecracker energy and happiness as she tears down the main garden path to throw herself into Ferio's arms; it has been too, too long.
