Fandom: Junjou Romantica
Pairing: Akihiko Usami x Misaki Takahashi
Theme set: Epsilon
Rating: PG-13 or light R for vague descriptions
of sex and swearing.
Warning[s]: Spoilers overall to all of the manga and
anime.
#01: Motion
Usagi-sensei
kissed him to keep him from crying, but all Misaki can do is rock him back and
forth in a soothing motion as Usagi-sensei’s tears stain the collar of his
uniform.
#02: Cool
Usagi
tells him ‘don’t try to be cool’ and Misaki can’t help but resent him for that
since Usagi-san doesn’t even try and he is cool.
#03: Young
“You
are too young for my son,” Usagi-chichi decides all by himself, ruthlessly
cutting Misaki’s legs from under him even though he wants to protest, the ‘I love
Usagi-san’ outburst burning on his lips.
#04: Last
They’re
the last ones to board the train and it’s fortunate, because hot hands are
slipping under Misaki’s shirt and even hotter lips are capturing his own, and
Usagi-san murmurs something like ‘you’ll always be mine’ against his mouth.
#05: Wrong
There
is so much wrong with
the fact that he’s being used in Usagi-san’s sex scenes in his filthy homo
books that Misaki tries harder the next time they make love so that Usagi is
too distracted to be taking notes.
#06: Gentle
Usagi-sensei
says something terrible and then touches Misaki’s face gently with cool
fingertips that spread warmth all over Misaki’s body.
#07: One
“My
one and only,” Usagi-sensei explained without hesitation when asked by a fan
who the teenage boy always by his side was.
#08: Thousand
Haruhiko
can think of a thousand reasons why Misaki should choose him but in the end
those very same reasons are why Misaki blushes red and chooses his inferior
brother.
#09: King
If Usagi-sensei
were a host in a club, he’d be King and Misaki would be the minimum wage worker
washing dishes, and they would still end up in a closet with Akihiko’s hands
gripping Misaki’s hips tightly.
#10: Learn
Misaki
picked up one of Usagi’s smutty books one day and learned more in that half
hour than he would have browsing porn online.
#11: Blur
Sometimes
their lovemaking is all a blur of nails rasping against skin, breaths panted
against his neck and pain mated explicitly with pleasure that leaves Misaki
boneless.
#12: Wait
Wait
there on the station, Usagi-san demands and since it’s a request coming from
him, Misaki obeys and is a little unsurprised
to see the man arrive three hours later.
#13: Change
Little
about Akihiko Usami’s apartment changes when Misaki moves in but for some
reason it suddenly feels like a ‘home’.
#14: Command
“I
don’t like being commanded,” Misaki grits his teeth as he’s sent
by Usagi-sensei again to his room, feeling poisonously jealous that Usagi wants
to talk to Misaki’s brother in privacy.
#15: Hold
Misaki
paused in the act of dicing a green pepper as strong arms wrapped around him,
and Usagi-san’s tongue touched the shell of his ear, making him shiver in the
possessive hold.
#16: Need
After closeting
himself for three weeks on an overdue deadline, it’s Misaki who pushes
Usagi-sensei against the wall and looks at him with need.
#17: Vision
Misaki
is a vision in white even though he’s only in pajamas, and Usagi smokes heavily
as he considers how he can trick Misaki into wearing a wedding dress.
#18: Attention
Usagi-san
paid attention to Misaki’s stomach, dipping his tongue into the navel and
feeling the fingers clutch his hair a little desperately as he drew beautiful
sounds from Misaki’s mouth.
#19: Soul
Misaki
had fallen asleep hours ago, but Usagi-san remained restless, gently splaying
his fingers over Misaki’s chest as if that could make him feel closer to the
soul housed in the slender body.
#20: Picture
Pictures
are meant to capture the soul of a moment, but nothing does justice to Misaki’s
smile and unfortunately all Usagi-san has until Misaki returns from his field
trip is a cellphone snapshot.
#21: Fool
He’s
been a fool to think that he could let Misaki go back to Takashiro, and he
feels sorry for his old friend but Akihiko is a selfish bastard when it comes
to Misaki.
#22: Mad
They’re
mad at each other and
that happens rarely for a reason, because they’re now at a standstill and
Misaki is too proud to give an inch and Usagi is too desperate to not lose
him to agree to let him go out with that creepy sempai of his.
#23: Child
In the
eyes of the law, Akihiko is making love to a child when he turns Misaki over in
the bed and carefully pushes inside him, whispering erotic things into his ear.
#24: Now
Now is
Christmas Eve, and now is Misaki drinking too much spiked eggnog and resting
his chin against Akihiko’s shoulder, and now is the softness of Misaki’s hair
against his jaw, and now is the moment that he thanks God that Misaki was born.
#25: Shadow
Misaki
feels the shadow of Takashiro hang heavy over him whenever Akihiko uses his
brother’s name as a weapon to make Misaki behave.
#26: Goodbye
Usagi-san
watches his father drive away, holding Misaki and wondering what the point was
of worrying about an inevitable goodbye when he has heaven in his arms right then?
#27: Hide
His
feelings were hidden for so long that when they’re noticed, Akihiko can’t help
but stare at the boy who is so angry at
him and doesn’t hide it, and thinks, if I let the world know my emotions
like he shouts them out, can I finally have what I want?
#28: Fortune
If
Misaki asked him for the moon, Akihiko would get it for him, tied neatly with a
bow, but Misaki would never demand anything from him, and Usagi feels both
fortunate and frustrated.
#29: Safe
Misaki’s
heart slowly began to beat again as dull white noise roared in his ears,
traffic and Usagi-chichi was yelling about safety, but that didn’t matter as
his fingers dug into Usagi-san’s coat and he felt the answering beat of Usagi’s
heart, proving that they hadn’t had to say goodbye just yet.
#30: Ghost
Akihiko
ghosted his fingers over Misaki’s smooth back, fingertips rough from all the
writing he did, drawing a contended murmur from the boy as he stretched in the
hazy morning sunlight pouring from the sky window.
#31: Book
It
pisses Misaki off to no end that there are people out there reading about his sex
life, and it’s all stupid Usagi-sensei’s fault.
#32: Eye
Akihiko
stood eye to eye with his brother, both men tense, and Misaki looked on with a
wounded feeling of helplessness and pity.
#33: Never
There
are three things that Akihiko Usami will never give up; coffee, nicotine, and
Misaki Takahashi.
#34: Sing
Misaki
sings in the shower, and he has a terrible voice, which is why he would die of
embarrassment to find out Usagi-san likes to listen to him warble his heart out
to Hitomi’s ‘Japanese Girl’.
#35: Sudden
Misaki
rinsed the shampoo out of his hair, then jumped as the shower door was suddenly
shoved open and Usagi-san stepped inside looking like hell on wheels, water
sluicing down the business suit he’d worn to the publisher’s party and without
saying a word began to kiss away the indignant protests from Misaki’s lips.
#36: Stop
“Stop it,” Misaki gasps and squirms as he tries
to haul out of the onsen as Usagi-san marks a trail with his teeth and lips
down Misaki’s spine.
#37: Time
They
for once have time, and they spend it watching the sunset with Usagi-san half
dozing on Misaki’s lap, Bear-san on Misaki’s left, and an ashtray full of scars
from extinguished cigarette butts on Usagi-san’s chest.
#38: Wash
The
sheet Misaki has just washed flutters around Akihiko as they go down to the
ground, and it can’t quite hide his anguished expression.
#39: Torn
The
envelope torn in two caught Misaki’s attention as he came home from school and
out curiosity he looked inside at the original contents to discover it was an
invitation to the aquarium from Usagi-nii, and he sighs, sometimes feeling as
if he is
the adult in the relationship.
#40: History
Isaka
uses his history with Usami to drive a wedge between the two lovers, and while Akihiko
accepts it as long as it forces Misaki to revaluate their relationship for the
better, he draws the line when he sees Misaki’s red eyes.
#41: Power
The
power went out, plunging them into darkness; neither noticed, writhing in
pleasure under the moonlight as the bed creaked.
#42: Brother
They
both have older brothers but their upbringings couldn’t have been any more
different without causing some sort of rip in the space/time continuum.
#43: God
This unbelievably rich and handsome god that my brother is somehow
friends with, is how Misaki views Usagi-sensei when he has to go to him
for tutoring.
#44: Wall
Misaki’s
back hit the wall, forcing the breath from his lungs and straight into
Akihiko’s mouth as the older man kissed him and simultaneously swept a hand
under his shirt to pinch a nipple.
#45: Naked
He was
naked but for an apron on the cover of Usagi-san’s smutty new book, and Misaki
was so pissed that he immediately burned all the aprons they had.
#46: Drive
“You
don’t have to drive me everyday,” Misaki protested as the car pulled up to the
school, and almost managed to get out of the car when Usagi-san pulled him back
in for a fierce kiss.
#47: Harm
Usagi-chichi
is convinced that Misaki is going to cause harm to Usagi-san, but if he keeps
going on like that, the elder Usagi is the one that’s going to come out of the
meeting with a black eye.
#48: Precious
Misaki
woke up to soft snores and a heavy arm curved over his stomach, cradling him to
Usagi-san as if he were a precious thing that the man can’t bear to let go of.
#49: Hunger
After
a cold and lonely childhood, Akihiko acknowledges that he is hungry for touch
and affection and that only Misaki can satisfy that need.
#50: Believe
“Believe
in me,” Usagi-san whispered against Misaki’s wrist, feeling the fluttery
heartbeat quicken at the words.
