The film is about the games politicians play in the sports field, but the way it is told borders on the playful.
Under Sibi's leadership, his football team wins the university level championship. The coach is Prakashraj and there erupts differences of opinion between him and the college principal Zakir.
So the villain tries to put a spoke in the wheel for the development of the team. Prakashraj wants the team to win on a national level but the villain uses his political connections and gives so much trouble that eventually Sibi loses Prakashraj and a team member.
Sibi and his friends set out to put an end to the interference of Zakir in their game. Whether they are successful or not forms the rest of the story.
These things have to be said. People should be aware of how much political interference there is in the sports field and kudos to the director for daring to take up such a theme. Unfortunately what scenes should make an impact on the audience are so lackluster that the original intention is lost.
By the time they collect money for a gun to shoot the villain, half the film is over, making the screenplay rather weak.
Sibi's dialogues are few, but even though his acting is improved, he still has a long way to go. Nila's appearance in the film is such that even a kid would ask whether her character is necessary at all in the film.
For Prakashraj, football is supposed to be his life, but when the villain goads one of the team boys to suicide, he strangely ignores the villain and one wonders at his dedication to the sport. It makes one angry with the director.
During the football match, the villain's team attacks Sibi's team with knives and blades and injures them. It is strange that no one notices that including the referee. It is laughable that the director has obviously not paid attention to such details.
Rajesh Yadav's cinematography and D Iman's music are strong points of the film but the lax screenplay and direction makes their efforts wasted.
On the whole, Prabhu Solomon has not managed to net the audience attention.
