Well who the hell is this chick? I'm 33, Aries woman personafied, sing jazz/soul/ funk. I am a jazz vocalist. I am a social worker for Child Protective Services, Emergency Response...I'm primarily an investigator. About 70% investigator... actually...social worker 30%. I'm going to start a new business in the near future, once I get the blasted web site designed, up and running... :). I'm not, I repeat not a web professional. A good friend of mine (you know who you are) was lambasting me due what he called the "messy" nature of my page. Well fooey on you mister. I create like I think which can be rather non linear in nature...so there (pout). A more diplomatic gentleman referred to this page as "ORGANIC" and I think that's more suitable so we will stick with that.
Right now all I have are assorted pics some links and some cathartic non fiction "ditties" that I penned. Hope you can find your way around here. I also write short fiction, parables, poetry and music, which will appear on this page in the near future.... I left the San Francisco Bay area in August for Bakersfield to finish my Master's degree in psychology and finish studies in music. That was the plan initially anyway. I have also come to realize I was drawn back here by forces beyond my control (a phenomena that happens to every creative minded Bakersfield resident who leaves). But I'm going to go with the flow and ride and maybe manipulate that universal wavelength. Who knows what we can do if we put our minds to it?? I explore various levels of spirituality, read fiction and non, I frolic, love being in nature especially near bodies of water and green things, dance, yadda....And above all dig ALL music such as classic soul, classic rock, classic jazz, btw SF has the best jazz station in the country... classic-al and some contemporary stuff a la acid jazz, innovative soul, alternative rock etc. Also into politics, current events. Spiritually I'm a hodgepodge. I have Christian roots, but my natural inclination moves me to worlds that most have never ventured to. Listen to talk radio on occasion. If you want an earful ask me about the type of talk radio I listen to. When I watch t.v it's the sci fi channel, E! Vh1, and (er reality shows) and most things of Fox when I decide to watch tv (which is getting rarer these days.. Recently gotten into biorhythms and enjoy finding a free and educational biorhythm program so if you know of any exceptional biorhythm programs, give me a holla!
Recently realized I have mulitiple callings. One is to make music, another is to teach (on a spiritual and practical level), another is to heal, the other(s)??? Not so sure about. I have known this in an intuitive sense most of my adult life, but am gaining more clarification on how/ when/ what I am supposed to be doing on this planet! So stay tuned.
