Hands down...I will not, repeat NOT  miss San Francisco!  Sure there are great elements about the city, the culture, diversity (although most can't speak English which get's on my LAST, nerves).  Every day I deal with rush hour traffic, I remember why I want to leave.  For those of you who read this who live in the San Francisco bay area...let me know how you feel about those people who use the exits to essentially "crowd" in front of other cars in order to cut, maybe 10 minutes from their commute!  If you are one of those people, shame on you...., if this burns you up, comment on my guest book.

Spent the day in storage...felt a little nostalgic again, going through things of days gone by.  I was super geek, president of Psi Chi (the psychology honor society), secretary of Circle K (the geekarama service club affiliated with Kiwanis), and president of and organizer of events in the Mentor Club (an organization that connects underrepresented students with professors for a nurturing scholarly experience)...wow...my undergrad years...even though I was a geek, I was a cool geek,  and still am and PROUD OF IT!.  Hell I was a band geek in high school (was the section leader of the sax section)  and everybody knows that band geeks grow into cool musicians in the future....so there.....

I found a whole bunch of letters from pen pals that I had from the late eighties early nineties...I wanted to be connected to the world for as long as I can remember...I have only carried one pen pal from paper and pencil world to cyber world...which is cool.  Anyway....just had a visit from my girlfriend Dani, she's an awesome woman...we had some fun and then she left.  Relieved a little stress.   So I'm listening to Roy Ayers right now on my CD, the best vibe player in the world...if you know who this guy is...holler!  So I guess I'll sign off now...be well all...and don't be afraid to express yourself...!

Candy B...

p.s.  listening to one of the 5 Atlantic recordings of Charles Mingus...if you can guess which one you get a prize
