Jim is in his third year of coaching at the College of St. Catherine and the University of St. Thomas, fresh off phenomenal coaching success at Woodbury High School and Ames (Iowa) High School. He also coaches locally at Twin City Divers, Mahtomedi High School, White Bear Lake High School, and Anoka High School. Recently, Jim was voted Section 6A and 8AA Diving Coach of the year.
Jim was a superb diver in high school and college, earning high school All-American honors in 1997, earing a spot on the the Minnesota All-State team in '96-'97, and All-Confrence '95, '96, '97. At Iowa State, he majored in Sports Management and dove from 1997-2000, and qualified two times for the division one NCAA Zone diving meet. He also dove for the local club team, and received the Outstanding Diver in Senior Men's from Diving Iowa, Inc.
Jim is finishing his degree at Metropolitan State University, and remains active in Cyclone Sports Camps in Ames. |
