| CURIOSITY A new sight; a strange smell; an odd sound, What is it? I must check all around. New places I have not been before, many interesting things I must explore. Anticipation makes my heart beat fast, Such a thrill with discovery, at last. Being wary on my quest is the key, I don't want danger to fall on me. Am I really doing this all on my own? Maybe I should turn back, head for home. Again, I see something up ahead; Following my desire, my body is led. It is within reach, but I can only stare. Shall I approach it? Do I dare? As I take the final step, I am free, Such joy at the beauty I now see. A great journey, this has been, I know that I must do this again. -- Andrea Domitrovich |
