The last several days of air strikes have sufficiently reduced the SRR hold of Norway to the point that NATO can begin ground operations. ACLANT now believes that most of the SRR air force in Norway has been destroyed either in the air or on the ground. The goal of many of the attacks to isolate occupied Norway from the rest of the SRR by striking the ground transportation links to the east has also been successful. Although the air defenses and infrastructure of occupied Norway have been substantially reduced, the SRR still retains a sizable land force that is well dug in. Our next task will be to expel the invaders.
