Since our arrival at November Station, NATO ground forces have continued their mobilization efforts. While these operations continue, we will begin strikes into occupied Norway in an effort to reduce the infrastructure supporting enemy forces. These strikes will be designed to first remove the ability of SRR forces to defend themselves, then we will directly target the supporting infrastructure. Specific target-types will include:

1- Command, Control, and Communications (C3) nodes
2- Early Warning Radar (EWR) stations
3- Communications facilities
4- Mid- and low-level C3 nodes
5- Mid- to long-range SAM units
6- Airfields
7- Power generation
8- Power transmission
9- Transportation

Due the density of air defenses arrayed in occupied Norway, we cannot hope to maintain air supremacy at this time without incurring significant losses. Instead, we will strive to attain localized air superiority by conducting large, joint strikes in conjunction with USAF and other NATO units. It is our intent to overwhelm SRR units in a localized area and egress the area before additional defenses can be mustered.

ELINT collection assets have located the probable locations of EWRs and SA-10 firing battalions. Please consult your briefing map for locations. Other AD units such as SA-11 have been more difficult to locate due to their mobility. Assume such units are in the vicinity of target areas.

Due to the threat of the SA-10 units, the abundance of EWR sites, and the thick CAP cover, a high-low-low-high flight profile is recommended. As defenses are worn down, it may be advisable to raise altitudes in order stay out of the engagement envelope of shorter ranges systems like 2S6 and SA-15. Your flight speeds and altitudes have been set to coordinate with other package elements. Consult your briefing map, detailed briefing, or select the DATA page from the HSI screen to view these.

Because of the long flight durations, it is recommended that your loadout consist of at least 20k lbs of fuel. S-3B tankers will be available along your ingress and egress routes.

Be mindful of NATO units ingressing from the west. These units will consist of RAF Tornado IDS and RNAF F-16 strike aircraft during daylight operations and USAF F-15E and F-117A strikes during the night. Supporting these packages will be F-16CJ SEAD flights and F-15C sweepers. Ensure you properly identify your target before taking a BVR shot. Use IFF, NCTR, or request a declare call from AWACS.

Good luck pilot.
