US Marines have landed in force near Teriberka Inlet on the Kola Peninsula have driven to the eastern outskirts of Murmansk. Resistance has been moderate to light, thanks in large part to NATO close air support aircraft. With complete air superiority over the region, NATO aircraft relentlessly pounded Red strongholds into submission. At least 5,000 former Red Russian naval infantrymen have been taken prisoner in the eastern sector alone.

While the Marines landed in the north, Blue Russian ground forces unleashed a fierce attack in the south. Losses are reportedly heavy on both sides, with the battle for the high ground overlooking Kirovsk being particularly bloody. With heavy NATO and Blue Russian air support, the hills were finally taken and the remaining Red armed resistance collapsed shortly thereafter. Blue internal security police have arrested many of the key Red Russian leaders.

With a cease fire in place, US Marines and Blue Russian forces linked up outside of Murmansk and celebrated victory together for the first time since the final days of World War Two.
