| On Friday - January 20, 2006 - 126 Brownie (12 Troops) attended a Brownie Girl Scout Lock-In sponsored by Cadette Troop 2047. This was a girl planned and girl run event, where the older girls had the opportunity to share their experience and work with the younger girls. The night was great fun for all - and definately a night where the Girls Ruled! The night was a good old Fashioned �slumber party�, Girl Scout style! The Brownies earned the following Brownie Try-It�s: Girl Scout Ways - Dancercize - Playing Around the World As well as some requirements from: Friends Are Fun, and Manners The Brownies all had the following: 1. A special event T-shirt to wear on Friday night (Girl/Adults) 2. Earn Brownie Try-It�s as noted above (Try-It patches not included) 3. Special 2006 Brownie Lock-In Patch (Girl/Adult) 4. 2 snacks & drinks on Friday night/Breakfast on Saturday morning (Girl/Adult) 5. Sleepover Manicure & Fun Hairdo (Girls only) 6. Brownie Dance Party (Girl/Adult) 7. Commemorative Brownie Lock-In 2006 Troop Photo (Girl/Adults) 8. Special Brownie Lock-In goody bag upon departure (Girl) |
