Jayid’s history prior to entering Goldwyn is shroded in uncertainty. She can not remember where she originally came from or who her parents were. All can remember are flashes of a past so ancient, it seems more like a dream. Jayid does remember however the first time she realized she couldn’t die. Broken hearted over the loss of her first lover, whose name has been lost in her memories, Jayid attempted to kill herself in the graveyard one night. Cationa, a bright and optimistic Scholar found her lying there, still alive, but yearning for death, and took her back to her home, where she helped nurse Jayid back to health.
From there she rejuvenated Jayid’s will to live, teaching her everything she ever needed to know about Alchemy. Jayid soon became happy once more, learning to love life and finding her place with her honorary sister, Cationa. But all good things must come to an end, and Cationa one day fell in love with a creature by the name of Jinx. Jinx spurned her love, and broke her heart, and afterwards, Cationa fell deeply ill, and didn’t have the heat to recover. Jayid watched her die slowly, and pledged to never forget her and avenge her death. Jayid found Jinx and killed him for what he had done to her sister, but afterwards, she still felt as empty and alone as before.
So, Jayid went in search to find out why it was she was immortal, and where it was she came from. After a run in with an ancient evil vampire who was after what made Jayid immortal, she found out about the DeRay that inhabited her body, and basically made her immortal. The Deray was a stolen life force from the planet itself, captured thousands of years ago by an evil wizard in an attempt to create an immortal race of knights. He succeeded in making the knights immortal, and they became a powerful organization known as the Cloak. However as time passed, the Deray began to gain a conscience of its own, and soon it gained the will to leave the knights, rendering them mortal, and pass on from one furre to the next, searching for a way to once more return to the earth. Ian DeSaber had read the legends of this great power and had been seeking it for centuries. He had found a way to forever entrap the Deray so it would never leave him, making him totally immortal and all powerful. He perused Jayid relentless trying to capture her so he could steal the Deray for himself, but eventually with the help of a friend named Roan, Jayid ended up killing Ian DeSaber and freeing Roan’s love, SierraAngel from his dark powers.
Alone once more, Jayid continued on her way, still holding many questions in her heart, as to why the Deray had chosen her, and when it would leave her and let her die.
Jayid’s journeys at last landed her in a kingdom known as the SunShadowKingdom ruled by the good King Ulric and the Lady SaiWai. Jayid was immediately embraced by the royal family and given membership. For a short while Jayid was happy there, as she soon fell in love with Harrigoth, another resident of the kingdom.
All her happiness was once more abruptly ended when king Ulric suddenly disappeared with out a trace, and Sai Wai broken hearted, left the Sunk Shadow kingdom to ruins.
Jayid was once more on her own, but she was not alone. During the time she had been at SSK, she had built up a reputation as a great warrior, having defeated Lord Dragonis’ finest warriors, and had adopted an orphan known as Merlina Ando whose father had gone mad and was killed.
After that Jayid pretty much wandered from place to place through out Goldwyn, building herself up a reputation as an infamous alchemist. She soon met a creature by the name of Anubis Albatross and though he had killed her friend Payton, the two fell in love, and remained together for a short while, until dark affairs tore the two apart.
From there Jayid deceide to join the Soulscastle, now Silver souls , but quickly found herself most unwelcome as herself and the queen engaged in a battle which resulted in Jayid being banned.
However during this time, Jayid had met a young handsome furre by the name of Gokan Dethloro, and the two of them fell in love, and remained together a long time.
Jayid then went on to join an organization known as the Knights of Oblivion, lead by the deranged Draco Blackwing. After being assimilated by some dark force known as the grim, Jayid took on a darker demon like appearance that stayed with her even after the grim was ripped from her body after Draco and Jayid engaged in an argument that resulted in her expulsion from the Knights. Jayid continued to be friends with most of her former knights, and remained with Gokan.
Jayid soon became pregnant with Gokan’s child, but troubles in the relationship as a result of her being banned from Soulscastle led to the couple ultimately breaking up. Jayid went on to join forces with the crazed Vlad the Impaler and had her child under his control. She was turned into a vampire, and became basically a slave to his whim until at last she was rescued by Zilia, who had also been turned by Vlad, but had been turned from a Vampire. She helped Jayid to escape from Vlad’s grasp and nursed her back to health. As soon as Jayid was well again she went out to try to find her child, but found that Vlad had turned her son, Rijel as well. After several attempts to cure her child by herself, Rijel at last died as a result from the dark embrace. After his death, Jayid became jaded and cynical, as though to shut out the pain of losing her son.
After her sons death, Jayid engaged in a short lived relationship with Nalfien, one of her fellow knights from the Knights of Oblivion, but she could not feel the love for him she had felt for Gokan. Jayid frequented Goldwyn tavern listening to gossip and engaging in a battle here and there, but nothing seemed to fill the void of her loss.
After returning from a long journey to retrieve certain plants for her potions, Jayid once more met up with Zilia, who had since then sired a huge family. Jayid once more tried to fit in again, attempting to involve herself in her friends affairs. However everything backfired on her, so to say, as while trying to clear an ensuing argument between Zilia and her daughter, Toxocana’s mate Exodus Maxwell, Jayid accidentally incarnated Toxocana. Driven mad by need for revenge, Exodus perused Jayid relentlessly looking to kill her for what she had done.
After the incident with Toxocana, Jayid realized that she did not belong with Zilia or her family and it was time she move on outside of the Imaginatory. Draco had returned trying to resurrect his knights, and his hatred for Jayid only spread to all his mindless minons who would turn their hate on her as well. Draco’s followers combined with Exodus’ persuit for revenge drove Jayid from Goldwyn and out in search of new lands where she would at last be happy. She wandered for months in search of some where she could call home. At last, hungry, sick, and near death as she could ever get, Jayid stumbled upon a land known as Leirune.
