Justin Lo's Homepage

So, this is my homepage. I started it just to fool around and to see how far my minimal creativity would get me. I didn't even intend for it to get this big--not that it's big as it stands now. But it is gradually growing, and getting more content. You see, it really is difficult to have a homepage without really having much to say... and despite having nothing to say, I actually have a blog.

Recent changes:

  • December 11, 2004: After a long hiatus, I'm back. CCSD sucks, pass it on. This increased security is breaking all my code in addition--I've had to change blogger settings and rewrite part of the chatbox. Continual updates in sections: about me (recent favourites), schedule, blog.

  • May 11, 2004: Yet another new look for the site. I can't seem to find anything absolutely original, but I'm getting pretty good at stealing other people's colour schemes...

  • October 4, 2003: I've been playing with the colours a lot. And I've finally updated the "more about me" page. (Does anyone even know where this page is?) The last time I touched that was the summer of 2000--what seems like eons ago.

  • September 20, 2003: I came across several blogs in one day that all had the same colour scheme as mine so I felt compelled to change it. Well, it's different now but I don't know if I actually like it.

  • September 4, 2003: I edited the stylesheet so now all pages use it for almost all of the styling. A lot of work, (almost) no difference in appearance. Somethings just seem so worth it.

  • August 27, 2003: There's an upgraded version of The Weather Channel's Weather Magnet and now... a chatbox! Yeah, I was bored so I built one. It's even supports (limited) emoticons. I'm just curious to see whether anybody actually looks at this page...

  • May 24, 2003: I travelled back in time to join the rest of the world. What a trip.

  • May 11, 2004: Oooh... a pretty little picture underneath the menu. Many thanks to my talented cousins and brother from whom I stole the pictures!

  • April 24, 2004: I goofed up and deleted the home page so I had to copy from an outdated version. To be honest, I can't even remember what it looked like before. But since nobody really cares that much--me included--this will suffice.

  • February 19, 2004: Added a couple of pictures--only 7 though. And I also started a blog.

  • November 12, 2000: I've replaced my class schedules with my work schedule, thinking that this might be a little more useful. Not that anybody REALLY needs to know exactly which days I work.

  • September 19, 2000: The weather thing is new. I thought it'd be nice to know what it's like in Madison without even looking outside.

  • July 6, 2000: I completed a much needed update on the "more about me" section. And I added a couple of pictures too, since Dan actually looks at this site.

  • June 23, 2000: Well, I plotted the webpage to GeoCities. In addition, I added a lot of pictures to the Pictures section.

  • January 8, 2000: It's been a really long time since anything was done to this page so I thought I'd give it a little makeover. There's also a résumé posted now.

  • November 14, 1998: It's once again time to register and I've updated my schedule for Spring 1999.

  • September 1, 1998: Another year has started, so it's time to do something to this homepage. I fixed the style sheet (which still won't work on Netscape) so that the links are the right colour (not the default ones).

  • May 8, 1998: Hmm... well, I added this list. Also, I added the "UW Site of the Month" thing. And yes, I realize this web page still remains a self-indulgence. But I don't really care. I also have another picture to add... just need to scan it in.
