Q. What is Yoga?
A. It is an ancient science and for thousands of years has been used as a tool to open the mind and body and bring transformation. Yoga is a psychophysical process and can be adapted to the needs of the individual.
Q. Do I need to call first or can I show up to a class?
A. You can drop in without calling first, try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the starting time and let the teacher know that this is your first class. Level One classes are designed for new yoga students.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Light comfortable clothing. For women t-shirt or tank top and tights or shorts for men t-shirt and shorts. Socks or shoes are not required.
Q. Is there parking? Or how do I get to the studio.
A. Each studio is located near a subway stop. Call the studio for directions or email me: janine_woo(at)yahoo.com.
Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. We recommend a small towel and a bottle of drinking water. Bring a personal yoga mat if you have one.
Q. Do any of the studios have a locker room with showers?
A. None of the studios I work at have lockers or showers.
Q. Do you accept credit or debit card(s) ?
A. The Yoga Sanctuary accepts cash, credit and debit cards. Private classes are paid by cheque or cash.
