| 1. Thanks for the excellent attendance at back-to-school night. Please don't hesitate to write or call me if any questions weren't answered.. 2. The students are learning about integers, algebraic expressions, and the coordinate plane in math (that's a lot!). We're continuing a unit on Mesopotamia in social studies, and a unit on Thermal Energy and Heat in science. Our reading program includes reading the novel Maroo, and writing "Budget Tour" summary responses. 3. Wednesday is Picture Day. The students can change into their P.E. shirts at lunchtime. (If that's not possible, that's OK this week). |
