I Swear

I Had A Dream Last Night...

I had a dream last night...
I dreamed my world came tumbling on top of me,
I dreamed the stars fell upon my head,
I dreamed the heavens opened and
my whole life was sucked away into oblivion.
I dreamed I was no longer alone,
And you came and took me away,
I dreamed I was once again happy...
but it was only a dream.

No Reason For the Tears

Through tear-filled eyes I see your fac,e
I hear your voice through sobbing.
I cry for unknown reasons you say,
But have you walked in my shoes?
I was hurt, not on the outside, but in.
In my heart I'm dieing,
Dieing from the screams of anger around me.
In my soul I am weakened,
Weakened from the hurtful things that were said.
On the outside I'm crying,
And you still see no reason for the tears.

Once Again

As I try to rise above all my problems
I spread my wings and fly away.
Away from all the pain and suffering
that I've been through night and day.
My energy and life now feeling drained
I hide my tears of rain.
Gliding into the distant future
I attempt to leave my past behind.
Striving forward with wings of gold
entering into this changing world.
Scared of the breaking day
I hold on to the night and beg to stay, no more.
Everytime I try to break away
I'm drawn into the arms of the stars.
Like magic I'm captured, locked away
Alone and afraid once again within a day.

A Painful Walk Home

Everyday I walk the same, short path home
Alone, and in agony I walk
Hanging my head
Staring as the ground passes below my feet
Trying to hide the pain that fills my entire body
Hands clenched and face wrenched with pain
I walk the loney path
In remorseful agony I walk
Just staring at the ground passing below my feet.

Just Have Hope

Throughout the years I've seen you cry
after someone left you without a good-bye.
Seeing your heart brake hurts me inside
and knowing that all your dreams have died.
Everyday hopeing your wishes come true
not knowing your love is at due.
Alone by day and alone by night
making you want a discussion to fight.
As a friend I love you dear
knowing you destiney is ever so near.
So don't give up I believe in you
soon you'll believe in yourself too.

Don't Hold Back
Tell me your secrets
Tell me your lies
Don't hold back from me
All of your cries
Give me your heart
And I'll give you mine
Just let me hear you say
That simple, simple line
Tell me your feelings
Tell me what's inside
I'll tell you what's in my heart
I'll tell you how I've cried
Tell me the truth now
Tell me no more lies
I'll give you my hand
Or I'll tell you my goodbyes.

Rainy Night

When I was a little boy, I lived out in the country
Every night I would lay on the grass and gaze at the stars above me
There were millions and millions of stars, but one had to be the best
It was the one that was brighter than the rest
I would make sure that every single night
I was out looking for the star that shined with all its might
I would dream and dream, of one day holding the star in my arms
And of being the companion of all of its charms
So I would try to run fast and jump high to try to reach the star
But it was impossible to reach, it was way to far
There are millions of other girls in the world, but none like you
You are so unique in every single thing you do
Is this a dream where with you I fall in love?
For your beauty has surpassed the stars above
Is it your gorgeous smile, that when I see it I melt?
And makes me feel as if the hottest flames Ive felt
Or is it those beautiful eyes?
That makes me float up in to the skies
I would anything just to hold you for an hour
And smell your hair, just like a flower
I would do anything to hold you in my arms
And be enlightened by your charms
But no matter how high I jump or how fast I run
Never will I be able to say that your heart I have won
Just like a star youre to high for me
I wouldnt be able to reach you, even if I tried for eternity
So I live off a dream, a dream where you and I are together
Living off in some distant land, today, tomorrow and forever.
