The difference is that it was the opposers who didn't like the arguments Jesus made. Bystanders could see that at least he had a logical argument to make. On H2O, bystanders routinely notice that JWs run away from serious arguments, either by ignoring postings and changing the subject, or by staying away until things die down.
Since disinterested third-parties notice this, it matters not that you think JWs make some good arguments here. You and not disinterested in the subject (neither am I, of course). But those who have not chosen sides notice the truth -- JWs cannot defend themselves.
