I didn't think so. And no, you did not make clear any point about simply presenting an alternative view. You specifically stated that the YECs make a better case than I did -- not limiting it to the confines of this thread but implying that their case was inherently better. Therefore any reader would conclude that you agree with their ignorant rantings. If you didn't, you should have so stated.

This case is different from that of Gerald Schroeder because it takes a good deal more than grade school science to debunk Schroeder. Anyone with the slightest education in real science can debunk a great deal of the YEC nonsense.

I believe the point that humans have genes for tails, which are normally suppressed, is that humans along with all other mammals have genes for tails. Why would animals, including Ramapithecus and Sivapithecus, have genes for tails if they don't have tails? Unless, of course, their ancestors had tails? One would think that an efficient Creator would create animals with precisely the genes they need, and no more. The present condition is consistent with the somewhat random "tinkering" one would expect from undirected evolution. It could also be consistent with a tinkering approach to creation by some powerful Creator, but that doesn't set well with traditional notions of an all-knowing Biblical God.
