Hi Zadok,
Do you need a WT history lesson? Did you know that God's mouthpiece believed 1874 to be the 'invisible return' of Christ and that in 1914, the battle of armageddon would begin? Russell, Woodworth, Rutherford waiting on the roof in Brooklyn, waiting to be raptured! It wasn't until the 1920's that this was moved up to 1914, after another failed prediction, that the long awaited battle would begin in 1925. Oops, wrong again.

>That's for each of us to decide for ourselves. That's why Matthew 24:45 pointedly asks, "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave." If you've come to the conclusion that they are not who they say they are, that's your prerogative.

Can you prove it to yourself by a preponderance of the evidence?
Are they only 'inspired' when they are right?
Did the apostles err anywhere in writing the inspired books?
Were the apostles the 'FDS' in their time? If so, why is Jesus alone our mediator?

>If
you're going to base your conclusion solely on their own claims, would it not only be reasonable, but required, that you acknowledge that they also claim that truth is revealed to them progressively, that they are not inspired, and that they have made, and will continue to make, mistakes?

Read Deut. 18.20-22 and see what Yahweh thinks of FALSE PROPHETS.
Hmmm. Then they are JUST LIKE ANY OTHER MAN MADE ORGANISATION, RIGHT?
