I am sorry that your conversation didn't go anywhere but wouldn't expect any different from JWs. My husband had one come almost every weekend for 2 months and each time he would bring a different elder to win arguments. My husband is pretty knowlegeable of the bible as well as the events to take place in Jerusalem. The elders were getting upset because they were looking foolish for not having answers.
You can not reason or discuss bible topics with JW's they are too busy thinking what to say while you are talking. Its very frustrating at times.
