Yes, I think medicine is going to see a great many advances in the near future. I think the easiest way to prolong life would be to get rid of everything except the brain, and build a new body from scratch. One that is easy to repair.

The only technology improvement that would be absolutely necessary would be to find some way to attach nerves to electric-chemical devices of some kind. And when we can do that, we might even be able to replace parts (or all?) of the brain with easy to repair computing devices.

To me, that seems to be the easiest way. At first it wouldn't be a fun way to live. But things would gradually get better. Sooner or later something like that could surpass the human experience. Imagine having wheels instead of legs, ten arms, and the ability to move around on Venus.

The future isn't set. (As JWs teach)
