Five minutes ago I said my farewells to a couple of witnesses after an hours worth of their return call.
Well, the woman was the one who returned, with her was an elder from the local cong' here in beutiful Margate, Tasmania.(The south island of Australia)
I had previously welcome'd the lady back so she brought the local "big boss" with her, fancy that.
After introductions she whipped up the book "knowledge that leads...." and I said I wanted to ask some questions about this book as I was already in possesion of this book.
I pointed to the now infamous picture of Jesus on stake and asked wether they thought it strange that the society would let this picture go to press.
No was the reply, then I pointed to what appears to be an embedded picture and the reply was that the "elders" wife see things like that in the pattern of their bedroom ceiling.
I said I was happy to show some more pics from the society but that was declined since there was nothing to see in the first pic I pointed to.(hmm)
I left it at that and went on asking about wether the society was inspired or not since the lady had told me that last week, the reply from the elder was no and the lady mumbled something totally incoherent.
I produced about 10-15 watchtower and awake articles claiming divine inspiration and showed it to them only to be told that I was the one reading that into it, never did they really claim any such thing.
We carried on with many topics such as the generation of 1914, chronology, evolution, drug use, (since I am a smoker claiming to be at peace with god, although I do not endorse smoking as such)
They wanted to start a bible study with me and I accepted on the terms that we study the bible only and not any of their publications including the use of the NWT. The request for a bible study was withdrawn.
Oh! I forgot, I did ask him to present some evidence of jerusalems destruction being in 607 bc, he said he could produce that for me.
