Faithful Slave-Who?
The Watchtower Society makes the claim, has for years and continues to do so in
practically every issue of The Watchtower magazine that they are "the Faithful Slave", an
entity prophesied to appear in the last days to control every aspect of the lives of
Christians. An entity to whom strict obedience is required, on pain of death eternal.
There may be some who comment on this thread, to the effect that I and my
partners are not Witnesses or are disfellowshipped. I assure any who may assume that,
that they are in error, and if proof is needed then set the terms.
To the matter at hand then.
It is fact that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is twisting Scripture, and
lacking proof thereof, seeks to indoctrinate Witnesses with the concept by mindless
repetition. Over and over again, the articles are used to assert their authority as God's
voice on earth. But Jesus calls them false.
Why does the Watchtower not comment on Luke 12:41? In all the millions of
pages that have been written by them, only one reference is to be found in the index. It is
the *** w81 10/1 19-24 and it bears out that they are twisting the Truth.
The Scripture reads 41 Then Peter said: "Lord, are you saying this illustration to
us or also to all?"
In the preceding verses 35-40, Jesus gives an illustration pertaining to the end of
this system. (Note, that at the time the *** w81 10/1 19-24 commented on this Scripture,
the Watchtower's official position about the TIME of it's fulfillment was still 1914.)
See *** w84 12/1 13-14 Happy Are Those Found Watching! ***
...the master on arriving finds watching! Luke 12:37-43.
...groups who were watching for the sign of Christ's return
...Charles Russell in Pittsburgh
...Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence.
....the date 1914
...Christ's invisible presence began in 1914, happy were these Christians to have been
found watching!
The point is, the next verses 42-48 discuss the "faithful slave" parable and verse
41 links the two parables together, ... at the hip! The *** w81 10/1 19-24 comments...
"As we now examine the parable {35-40}, we should keep in mind Peter's question,{41}
which carries over in its application to this follow-up parable,(42-48} namely, "Lord, are
you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?"
The illustration in verse 25-40 is linked and inseparable with the illustration in
verse 42-48. The link is verse 41.
Thus, since the WTS has changed it's official position on the parable in verses 35-
40, it now contradicts, trying to keep the fulfillment of the parable in verse 42-48 as
finding fulfillment in 1914.
It is then easy to understand why the Watchtower fails to comment on Luke
12:41. The obvious Truth that the WTS is wrong about the fulfillment of verse 42-48,
the parallel account to Matthew 24:45-51, would be apparent. Hence, the silence
regarding Luke 12:41. If the WTS commented on Lu.12:41, the "slave" teaching would
come down like a house of cards, and the deposed Governing Body, branded as heretics,
would be on the street begging for bread.
To bring the point home, examine the account in Matthew.
*** Rbi8 Matthew 24:36-51 ***
36 "...day and hour nobody knows..." [Armageddon]
39 "the flood came and swept them all away [Armageddon]
40 "two men will be in the field: one will be taken" [Armageddon]
42 "...YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming. [Armageddon]
43 ...the thief was coming [Armageddon]
44 ...at an hour that YOU do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming. [Armageddon]
45 "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave..."
46 Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.[Armageddon]
47 Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings. [Armageddon]
50 "master...will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not
know [Armageddon]
Note that in the New World Translation Reference Bible at Mt. 24:46 the word
"arriving" is used so as to differ from all the other verses of Mt 24. Look close and you
will see a little asterisk beside the word "arriving" taking you to the footnote. The
footnote reads *** Matthew 24:46 (ftn) *** Lit., "having come." Gr., el·thon'.
The WTS changes this word to "arriving" because they use the words "arrived"
and "arriving" in conjunction with their discussions about 1914 and the "invisible" "secret
chamber" arrival of Christ. A teaching that was condemned in advance by Christ at
Matthew 24:23-24. See the Kingdom Interlinear Trans. and other Bible translations to
verify this.
The WTS attempts to change the TIME CONTEXT of Mt. 24:45-47 and extract
these verses out of Jesus discussion of his coming at Armageddon. But as you can clearly
see, they have failed. We found out the Truth.
Knowledge of this fact is the reason behind the failing attempt to shield the rank
and file from the truth. The internet will prevail.
4 "And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time
of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the knowledge will become abundant." Daniel
12:4
The WTS cannot stop Jesus as he does the Father's will.
For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest, neither anything carefully
concealed that will never become known and never come into the open. Luke 8:17
With this knowledge, I pray you make good choices.
